Reading Buddies!
Yesterday, our class teamed up with Mrs. O's 5th-grade students. Students got to meet their new 5th-grade reading buddies as they shared a story with our Kinders! Both 5th-graders and Kindergarteners will take turns sharing their work, practicing skills, and encouraging one another to do their best. We hope this experience helps to build social and academic confidence for all of our students. Our Kinders loved getting to work with the 5th-graders and are already looking forward to next time!
