Mrs. O's FAB 5 Students Conduct a Fair Test
Mrs. O's FAB 5 students are learning how to use science tools and how to conduct a fair test. The students tested how the temperature of water affects Kool-Aid powder. The students dissolved 1/2 teaspoon of Kool-Aid powder in 1/2 cup of either hot or cold water. Then the students observed the results. Students observed that the Kool-Aid dissolved in hot water smelled "horrible", while the powder dissolved in cold water smelled "awesome" or "normal". They also observed that the powder dissolved completely in the cold water, but not in the hot water. Finally, the students recorded their observations in their Science Notebooks.
