Celebrating Dr. Seuss’ Birthday in Second Grade
Mrs. Jones' 2nd graders celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday today with a Read-A-Thon. We had several members of our community come in and read to us. Nurses, teachers, a Criminal Investigator, Grandmas, moms, and friends. Students enjoyed snacks and a fun activity with a variety of cookies (lemon, fudge, Oreo's , chocolate chip, etc...) to see if their cookies tasted any different in a different location. Students determined that their cookies tasted good anywhere, just like Sam from Dr. Seuss' book decided he likes Green Eggs and Ham anywhere.
