H Is For Helper!
This week in exploration of letter H, preschoolers have been discussing what it means to be a good helper.
We also celebrated a few of Putnam County's community helpers. THANK YOU so much to Tim Montgomery and David Tingley from the Unionville Fire Department for bringing your truck and giving us a SPECTACULAR presentation! We had so much fun learning all about being a firefighter!
We also want to thank ALL PC school employees! Many of you work extra hard behind the scenes to make sure all goes well and our needs are met.
Another way we learned about helping was by reading "The Little Red Hen". The poor hen could not get any help with the process of making bread until it was time to eat it. The preschoolers did not like that one bit! They thought we should make bread and so we did. I am proud to say I have a class full of eager helpers.
Thank you to ALL of our community helpers/heroes that make a difference in the lives of our children and their families! We appreciate all you do!
