Not Always Paper
In first grade, we do not always use paper and pencil to do our work. We like to use a variety of items. This week we also used our whiteboards and markers to build and write words and sentences. A whiteboard and dry erase marker is an inexpensive tool to keep in the car for road trips or at home to practice writing and drawing. Over Christmas break, have your child practice their writing with a whiteboard and dry erase marker.
