Students Create Animal Covering Costumes in First Grade
Students and families in first grade recently created their first science project. We have been learning about animal coverings, such as fur, scales, shells and feathers. Students were given a human form to cover in a pretend animal covering made from household materials. They presented their creative projects to their classmates explaining what the covering was pretending to be, what animal might have that covering and how they made it. We appreciate the help from our families in making our fun projects!
