Finding the Perfect Potion
Today we kicked off our Fall Party a little early by figuring out what secret potions will create a bubbling witches brew. Students were told the criteria for the witches brew is that is must include a dry potion and a liquid potion. The trick was to use use the least amount of potions as possible to create the bubbling brew. Students used process of elimination and a little creativity to eventually figure out the secret potion ingredients were crushed dragon teeth (baking powder) and troll saliva (vinegar). Creating our witches brew was a great start to learning about chemical reactions.
