Lisa Stobbe: Teacher Spotlight

Help us wish Happy Birthday to our next Teacher Spotlight, Mrs. Lisa Stobbe!

Lisa lives at Lake Thunderhead with her husband Clint Stobbe, who is employed as a loan officer at Farmers Bank of Unionville. They have two children, Savanah and Boston.

When Mrs. Stobbie is away from school, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, and coaching cheerleading. Lisa tells us, "Coaching allows me to invest time into a team who share the same passion for cheerleading as I do. My continued goal is to make Putnam County Cheerleading something to be proud of."

We asked Lisa who inspired her to pursue a career in education. She replied, "My Mom has been my role model in all areas of life. I watched her enjoy teaching and coaching and it first inspired me to consider education as my future career. I spent my high school years taking advantage of A+ tutoring and cadet teaching and realized I really enjoy the energy and laughter that only kids can bring to your daily work environment."

"After graduating in 2007 from Putnam County High School, I attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education in 2010. I later graduated with my Master's in Educational Leadership from Northwest in 2011."

Lisa is another one of our #hometownheroes. She was hired in the fall of 2010 at PCR-I and has been teaching and coaching cheer here for the last 11 years. She tells us, "My family is deeply rooted in this community and school. My grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all walked these halls. Therefore, I always hoped I would have the opportunity to return to Putnam County to give back to the school which helped mold me into the teacher and coach I am today."

Help us thank and wish Mrs. Lisa Stobbe a happy birthday today! Thank you for choosing PCR-I!
