FAB 5 Field Trip
The FAB 5 traveled to Hannibal, Missouri, for our field trip. Students visited the Mark Twain Museum Properties which include Mark Twain's Boyhood Home and Museum Gallery, the Mark Twain Interpretive Center, the Huckleberry Finn House, Grant's Drug Store, the Becky Thatcher House, and the J.M. Clemens Justice of the Peace Office. Students and chaperones then climbed over 244 stair steps to see the Mark Twain Memorial Lighthouse. Through grit and determination, we ALL made it to the top to enjoy the fabulous view of the Mississippi River and the riverboats. Then we ate lunch and toured the Mark Twain Cave. On the way home, we stopped in Kirksville for a much-needed break at the YMCA before heading back to PC. We had a FABULOUS trip!!
