Animal Adaptations
Third grade has been learning about animal life cycles and adaptations. To finish off our unit, students were given a specific environment and had to create a new animal with special adaptations and characteristics that would help it survive. They had to think about the climate, available food, landforms, predators, and how it would care for its young. Take a look at our animals that live in The Plains of Maldovia, The Kanubi Desert, The Majestic Mountains, and on a Jungle Island.
