Celebrating National School Counseling Week! A big shout-out to our incredible school counselors, Mandy Tipton, Samantha Hendershott, and Brook Fleshman. The theme for this year is "School Counselors: Standards-Based, Student-Focused." Did you know our counselors have standards, just like teachers? They use these standards to develop plans that support our students' success in school, helping them build a strong foundation for learning.
In the words of Henry David Thoreau, "If you build castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them." Our counselors guide students to build foundations for their dreams, using these standards as a tool. If your student needs to strengthen their foundation, our school counselors are here to help.
