Making Middle School Marvelous: Brook Fleshman
Please give a warm welcome back to Putnam County alumna and Middle School Counselor, Mrs. Brook Fleshman!
This will be Brook's 11th year in education and 3rd year at Putnam County as the middle school counselor, high school yearbook advisor, and talented and gifted teacher. The eight years prior to Putnam County were spent at La Plata as the K-12 counselor for seven years, and one year at Schuyler County as the high school business teacher.
Mrs. Fleshman attended Northwest Missouri State University for her Business Education degree, obtained a Master's in Counseling from Truman State University, and a certificate for Gifted Education from MU.
Brook and her husband, Kyle Fleshman fell in love in the halls of Putnam County as students. This summer they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Brook and Kyle have two little boys. Emmitt is 5 years old and Bayler is 1 year old, both full of spunk and energy!
In her spare time, Brook enjoys watching Midget basketball games, cooking, digging in her flower beds, and creating remodeling projects for the two of them to tackle.
