Using our Floor for Math
We've recently started learning how to find the perimeter of a shape and what better way to practice finding perimeter than to use our own classroom floor? Our tiled floor worked perfectly! Pretty soon we'll begin comparing the perimeter and area of shapes and I have a feeling our tiled floor will come in handy yet again.
