Art and Music at Winterfest 2019
Winterfest 2019 was a huge success due in part to the art and music provided by our own PCR-I students. Under the direction of Mrs. Michelle Booth, Middle School band students performed two sets of music on Saturday the 7th in the Bixler Building. Their Christmas themed selections were especially impressive because students formed their own small ensembles. Taking on the responsibility for preparation for this event demonstrated real maturity.
Student art from various age groups was also on display including two large, collaborative pieces from Mrs. Tammy Dooley’s elementary students. Community joining forces could have been the theme for this year’s event. It is wonderful to see everyone come together to celebrate these young people and the great place we get to call home.
