Dear Parent(s),
Please remember next week there will not be any school on Monday for Labor Day and Friday. We have a 12:45 dismissal Tuesday through Thursday due to the fair. There will also not be any school on Monday, September 10, 2018, due to a Teacher Work Day.
I will not be sending a parent letter next week due to an early out schedule. On the back of this parent letter is a list of Spelling words that we will be testing over the week after fair. Since, it’s a short week coming back from the fair the Spelling test will be on Friday, September 14th. Our Spelling tests will typically be on Thursdays this year with Friday being our introduction day.
The week after fair week we will be learning all about the short ‘a’ sound, predicting, and solving addition and subtraction problems up to 10. Baggy books will also be coming home after fair week. Title I Reading Groups and RTI Groups are already in progress. Thank you to everyone who has consistently completed the sight word flashcards
