First Grade is fun with Mrs. Fenton! Please give a warm welcome back to Mrs. Tara Fenton! Tara graduated from Seymour High School in 2002. 👩🏼🎓(Fun fact: Dr. Halley was her 7th grade science teacher 😊) Mrs. Fenton earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education and endorsements in reading from Graceland University. 👩🏼🎓She later obtained her Masters in Administration from William Woods University. Tara and her family have made Centerville, IA their home for the last 14 years. They have 3 children. Karver is 9👦🏻, Kyson is 6🧒🏻, and Adley is 1👶🏻. This will be Mrs. Fenton's 14th year in education and 6th year at Putnam County. She previously taught Title I reading at Newtown-Harris for 8 years. While at Putnam County, she taught 3rd grade for 2 years and this will be her 4th year in 1st grade! In her spare time, Tara enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kids play sports⚾️⚽️🏀, boating🚤, going to the pool, and reading mysteries📚.
