Thank you from American Legion Auxiliary
The third grade students received the following thank you card from the American Legion Auxiliary regarding their "Pennies for Poppies" project.
"To the 3rd graders who gave such a generous donation to the American Legion Auxiliary for the poppy fund that will be given to help the veterans in our community: It was so nice of you to collect all the change you had to help veterans. The story of the poppies has such an impact on all who know about it. We hope you will always remember the story when you see a poppy.
