PCHS Character Education Assembly: September 2021

At PCHS, we thoroughly enjoy celebrating and recognizing all our students and staff for their hard work, dedication, successes, growth mindset, and character.

Today, during the PCHS Character Education Assembly, we celebrated quite a few.

PCHS Student Council President, Vanessa B, started us off with the Pledge of Allegiance. Then Mrs. Klinginsmith, Mrs. Rhodes, Mrs. Watt, Ms. Miller, and our CTE teachers helped us recognize several achievements.

Congratulations to Cora H, our Character Education winner for Responsibility!

Congratulations to Elijah J, our Character Education winner for Respect!

Congratulations to all of our students who were recognized today for scoring advanced and proficient on their EOC (end of course) testing. They all received passes to get into most school events for free. (Great academics and effort really do pay off.)

Congratulations to our Academic Breakfast winners on being recognized by your teachers for your excellent attitude, academics, and effort in the classroom.

Congratulations to our August and September Readers of the Month: Anna Mc, and Corey F! Keep on reading!

Congratulations to our CTE (Career and Technical Education) winner for the month of September, Gage P! Gage was selected by the CTE teachers for his excellence in his effort, enthusiasm, leadership, and more.

Congratulations to Mr. Jeremy Watt, our very first PC MVP! Mr. Watt’s dedication and professionalism shine every day through his interactions with his students, peers, and community. Mr. Watt is always willing to go beyond the call of duty and is very supportive of his peers and students.

Mr. Watt was surprised and very grateful. Here's what he had to say:

“This was an outstanding surprise that made my week! There are a lot of valuable players on our team at the school! I am just thankful to be a part and to be doing what I love - helping our students to develop a positive mindset and to always reach for their top-shelf even when the going gets tough.”

Congratulations to our PCHS Band, Drumline, and Color Guard on their 1st place finish at Pancake Day! Excellent!

These are just a few of the wonderful things taking place at PCR-I!

Help us congratulate all our winners!
