How to Catch the Easter Bunny

When you listen to a read aloud and students want to catch the Easter Bunny you begin making plans to catch the Easter Bunny. In Mrs. Bain's classroom students listened to the read aloud "How to Catch the Easter Bunny". From that the students created a KWL chart on the things they Know, What they need to know, and then at the end, what they Learned. This chart lead us to investigate the normal size of an Easter Bunny. Due to the students working on measurements in their classrooms, this lesson was ideal. Did you know the average Easter Bunny is three to six feet according to a Google Search conducted? Knowing this, the students had to create a list of items needed to create the perfect trap. They took time to gather materials for the project.  On day two, they started creating. The students measured, cut, pasted, and created. They even had carrots to help lure in the candy giving Easter Bunny.
