👨🎓Senior Spotlight time!
👏Put your hands together for Elijah Jones! Elijah is the first-born son of Daniel and Tabitha Jones.
🏈His favorite accomplishments in high school so far are being the captain of the football team, and recognition in football and track.
🎯Elijah's advice for incoming freshmen..."Just relax and do what you are supposed to do."
💁♂️His favorite quote is from Ron Swanson, a fictional character from the TV show Parks and Recreation. "I can do what I want."
😂One of Elijah's funniest memories while at PCHS was seeing Coach Stiles participate in a pep assembly game and fall flat on his face. It was not graceful. We all enjoyed giving him a hard time afterward.
👩🏫When we asked Elijah what his favorite class has been at Putnam, he replied, "My favorite class is my College English 101-102 class with Mrs. Owings."
🏈Elijah tells us his favorite moment at Putnam was "when my football team went to the district championship my sophomore year."
💙We asked Elijah what teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on him and why. He told us, "I think Coach Mayer has been a great example to me through his hard work and never accepting less than 100% effort. I also really appreciate all the staff and custodians who keep this school running so well."
💻Elijah plans to attend Missouri S&T to earn a degree in Computer Engineering. In the next 5-10 years, he hopes to be out of college and hopefully work near Unionville to be close to family.
