Our PCMS students have been reading articles with partners and discussing some of the Signposts that they see in the text that they are reading. 6th-graders have also been asked to check out nonfiction books from the library so they can read and write down the nonfiction Signposts and fiction Signposts that they have seen while reading their book.

Ask your student about signposts and see what they can tell you. You might be surprised.
