Area of Life Size Composite Figure
Sixth-grade math students have been learning how to find the areas of composite figures. They ended the section by creating life size composite figures. The students found the area of each shape used and then compiled their data for the final area. Each figure needed to have at least one of each of the following shapes: square, rectangle, parallelogram, triangle, and trapezoid. The students did a great job of being creative while learning!
