Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins!

Pumpkins Everywhere! We were so very blessed to have a huge donation of 300 or so snow-white pumpkins to the elementary art department. A big thank you to Lora & Brian R. We have never had such a generous donation of pumpkins. There were enough pumpkins that every student in the elementary art classes got to decorate. Preschool poured and dripped metallic colors on. Bright colored paint was poured onto kindergarten pumpkins.1st-grade painted with strings dipped into paint. 2nd-grade melted crayons over top of theirs. 3rd-grade modge podged tissue paper on. 4th-grade have been studying radial balance so they painted lines, shapes...into a radial design on their pumpkins. 5th grade- got to hydro-dip with nail polish. Pumpkins lined our hallways.

All the pumpkins turned out really cool & more importantly the kids had a blast decorating them! Thank you to all the individuals who donated pumpkins & time, helped students decorate, washed pumpkins & supplies, took photos, and a big thank you to our maintenance crew/5th-grade boys who moved the massive box. It was a team effort & you are all wonderful!
