6th Grade Miniature Character Autopsy
6th Graders have been reading Old Yeller this quarter and we have just finished the novel. While reading the novel we have been discussing context clues, text evidence, making inferences, and analyzing new words. Students are now working on a Miniature Character Autopsy. Students are expected to find context clues and text evidence while they do their autopsy. Students are then supposed to use the evidence that they find and prove how the character has changed throughout the novel. Next week we will be starting the movie. Students will then write a compare and contrast essay over the novel viruses the movie.
