FFA Area III Leadership Conference Held
On September 15, 2021, the Putnam County FFA chapter attended the Area III FFA Leadership Conference in Queen City, Missouri. Nineteen FFA members attended this event including Vanessa B, Sofia V, Cora H, Kloey P, Adeline D, Dylan H, Jacob D, Elexa L, Trent H, Bailey D, Chloe S, Case P, Brock M, Kooper H, Maddi B, Albany W, Hunter S, Rusty W, and Wyatt J. This conference was a great way to improve and develop leadership skills and the chapter is very pleased with the number of members who attended.
We started the evening off with a speech from our Missouri State FFA Vice President from Area III, Anna Triplett. Then, members broke out into sessions to learn about ways to become better leaders. Those session topics were: Officer/Job Interview Skills, Opportunities in FFA, Line Dancing, Rituals, College Fair, Leadership Development Events, and many more. To conclude the conference, Anna Triplett gave a motivational speech to members about how to keep pushing yourself in order to reach your goals. Vanessa B also served in her role as the Area III FFA Secretary and helped organize and conduct this event.
