PCHS Class of 2020 Senior Spotlight: Faith S.
Our next Senior Spotlight is Faith S.
Faith's plans after graduation: Attend Truman State University to major in Spanish and minor in Japanese and Linguistics. My goal is to become an interpreter, as well as a Spanish and ESL teacher.
Faith's Activities and Awards: "I was involved with Football Cheer, Basketball Cheer and Competition Cheer, Martial Arts, Track, FFA, DECA, NHS, SADD, FBLA and God's Squad. Our cheer squad earned two State Championship Awards. In FFA, I went to State competing in Agronomy."
Faith's Favorite Memory at PCR-I: "Going to Europe last summer, visiting historical sites and seeing the beauty of Rome and Paris was definitely my favorite memory at PCHS. I've always wanted to travel to another country and I'm so thankful that Ms. Hines gave me that chance. Thank you Ms. Hines! It was an amazing experience."
Faith's Favorite Quote: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phillipians 4:13
Faith's words of thanks: "I'm very thankful for my parents, because they have educated me and pushed me to do well in school and activities. They taught me to never give up, even if things were difficult and to always believe in myself. My parents always remind me to never tell myself that "I can't" do something, instead they tell me "I can" do anything, if I work hard and keep trying. I'm also thankful for my PCR-I teachers. I appreciate that they have always been kind to me, encouraging me to try new things and always willing to help me, if I needed it."
