Middle School Character Education-Trustworthiness
Community winner for the month of February for Trustworthiness is Angela Chapman. Mrs. Chapman is a 5th-grade teacher at Putnam County R-1. Before she found her passion for teaching she worked in sales and customer service for many years. Her plan was to take a year off to decide her next career path. The fact that she was nominated by a previous class makes this an honor and shows that she reached at least one student during their time with her. She and her husband Jared have three sons together and loves spending time with her family.
Middle School Good Attitude winners for the month of February have shown a good attitude in the classroom and among their peers. These students have received two-10 point bonus coupons with their certificate. Thank you for being a great example for everyone at Putnam County R-1! The winners are, 6th Grade David O., 7th Grade Morgan W., and 8th Grade Dayton D.
The character education word of the month is Trustworthiness. These character education winners of the month received a t-shirt, a concession stand voucher, and a certificate! The winners are 6th grade Jenna K., 7th Grade Cole M., 8th Grade Adeline D.
These students have been selected as February's student of the month! Students who receive this award have displayed outstanding behavior, a positive attitude, and have been a great role model for his or her peers. They received a framed certificate a dog tag that allows them to get into Putnam County school events for the next school year, and a box of candy. The winners are 6th Grade, Macie H., 7th Grade Jayden D.H., and 8th Grade Vanessa L.
