Ecological Problem Solving
Recently, students in Environmental Science have been studying about soils and agriculture. In order to get a little more hands-on experience, they were tasked with designing a system to prevent soil erosion, which is one of the main issues in agriculture with respect to soil degradation.
During this challenge, the students found it was a little more difficult than they had imagined to keep the land in place and were eager to revise their original designs to attempt to fix their issues.
Who knows if in the future, one of these students will be the next to come up with some new and effective soil management systems that will benefit all!
