Old Glory Flag Project a Success!
For the thirteenth year in a row, the 5th- grade students have worked very hard in completing the Old Glory Flag Project during their time with elementary counselor Diane McClain. The students take great pride in making the wonderful keepsake and writing an essay on how they will live their lives in an honorable way.
The original Old Glory lesson dates back to 1917 as part of the Moral Education Program initiated by the United States government and still has great meaning today.
