Storybook Character Pumpkin Contest
The elementary library will be holding a storybook character pumpkin contest. This is a fun optional family project! You and your child can decorate a pumpkin to look like their favorite storybook character. At home, help your child pick one of their favorite characters from a book. Then you can paint, draw, dress up, or decorate a pumpkin to look like the character. Please DO NOT carve it! Have your child bring their pumpkin (and book if you have it) to the library on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. The pumpkins will be on display in the elementary library until Halloween where all elementary students will be voting for their favorite. Please be sure to fill out and return the bottom portion of the letter that was sent home with your student if you would like to participate. Have fun and be creative!
