Elementary Tag Enjoys a Good Challenge

Do you love a good challenge?  Elementary TAG sure does! They have started competing each Friday against one another in a weekly showdown we like to call Challenge Fridays.  Students never know what they’re up against until they get in the room. Their strategic thinking and creativity impress me each time. The first competition was timed cup structures where students used cups to satisfy a set of requirements for each round of building.  Another challenge was the marble run bowling using pool noodles to build a ramp with the best angle to create a strike.

The other days of the week Elementary TAG is hard at work building a tree house attraction worthy of an amusement park.  They have planned a 3D small scaled model of their attraction including features like water slides, zip lines, trampolines, safety devices, and rock walls.  In a few weeks, they will give their sales pitch for the extravagant tree house.
