Influenza Symptoms

Know when to stay home.

More and more diagnosed cases influenza are coming to our attention each day.  It's hitting us hard at school right now and parents need to know what symptoms to watch for and when to keep their student at home.  The government's Center for Disease Control has issued the following listing of symptoms of the flu:

  • Fever*  (Not everyone with the flu will have a fever.)
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Feeling feverish/chills
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headaches
  • Fatigue (tiredness)

If your child has any of these symptoms, please keep them at home.
