SOAR Information
The SOAR Program is in operation from 6:00-8:00 a.m. and from 3:20-6:00 p.m. on days that school is in session. Prices for the program are as follows: Full Price--$25.00 per week, those who qualify for Reduced Lunch--$15.00 per week, and those who qualify for Free Lunch--$10.00 per week. There will be no partial week charges. If a student attends one day per week or all five days, the price will be the same. Payment is expected weekly. If balance is more than two weeks past due, students will not be allowed to attend the program unless payment arrangements have been made. Students with a balance from previous years will not be permitted to attend the program until the balance is paid in full. There will be no SOAR bus in the evenings. Parents will need to pick students up at the SOAR building no later than 6:00 pm.
If school is not in session due to inclement weather, the SOAR program will not be open. If school is dismissed early due to bad weather, the SOAR program will run from the time school is dismissed until 6:00 p.m.
Students must have a completed application on file, before attending the program. Applications are available in the elementary office. Any questions concerning the SOAR program should be directed to Mrs. Altiser, Elementary Principal at 660-947-3361 ext. 317.
