High School Principal.

Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

I'm excited to begin my 13th year at Putnam County R-I Schools and my 2nd year as the high school principal. It's truly a privilege to work with you and your children and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all you do throughout the school year to make it a success. I am proud to be part of such a wonderful community and school district.

My husband (Tristan Klinginsmith), and I both graduated from Putnam County High School in 2003 and were thankful to have the opportunity to move back home, find employment within the community and start a family. Our son Jaxon is 7 years old and will be in 2nd grade this year. We are faithful St. Louis Blues Hockey fans and were thrilled when they won the Stanley Cup for the first time in their franchise history this summer! We also enjoy golfing, going to the movies, and spending time at the ocean (even though it doesn't happen nearly as often as we would like).

Besides my family, my greatest passion is education and helping our students at Putnam County R-I Schools grow into successful adults. I wish all of our students a happy and fulfilling future!

Mrs. Klinginsmith is passionate about student engagement and believes that all students can learn at high levels. Tiffani spent her entire career in education, at Putnam County R-I as a middle and high school science teacher before taking on the role of High School Principal.

She and her husband Tristan are both graduates of Putnam County High School. They live in Unionville with their son, Jaxon. Tiffani and Tristan will celebrate their wedding anniversary this coming October. Their son Jaxon is in 2nd-grade at Putnam County Elementary this year.

Tiffani was raised in Unionville, Missouri where she was taught the importance of hard work, integrity, and dependability. After graduating high school, Tiffani earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Graceland University, and then went on to earn Masters and Specialist Degrees in Education Administration from William Woods University.

Tiffani enjoys spending time with her family doing various activities such as golfing, cooking, traveling, and going to the movies. She loves living in a small town and appreciates the support and sense of community it has to offer.
