Attitude Makes a Difference

As we quickly approach the end of the year, some of you may think that we have finally finished this first semester while others may be in disbelief that it has gone by so quickly. Regardless of how you look at it, having the right attitude about your education is vital to your success. Having a positive, proactive attitude toward your classes, even in the ones that are not your favorites, can not only make the class flow better and help your understanding of the material, but it can also make it more enjoyable for you and your classmates. Everyone gets more out of activities when all are participating.

You may be asking yourself why this matters…it’s only high school, right? High school is one of the key times that determines what you get to do later in life, whether that is college or entering the working world. Open doors for yourself by putting in your best effort each and every day. Be the “Can Do” person rather than the one that finds excuses for not doing.

Take on the challenge of tackling the new year in a new light. Show how much you can shine in all you do! Give yourself a reason to be proud of what YOU do.
