Earn extra money as a substitute driver.
There is a great opportunity to earn extra income through the transportation department. The average pay for a substitute bus driver, based on our average 1 ½ hour route, is $16.77 per hour.
You will need to have already passed the written exam which is given at the court house here in town on the first, third, and fifth Mondays. You will also need to be able to pass a physical. All bus drivers must pass a complete background check.
I want to encourage any of you that might be interested to consider this opportunity. We have a real need in the transportation department and your help would be much appreciated. It’s also a great supplementary income.

Substitute teachers and paraprofessional aides are needed. Competitive wages are offered for these positions in a very positve work environment. Substitute teachers must have earned at least 60 college credit hours; there is a financial incentive for certified teachers. Paraprofessionals must have a high school diploma.
